Website Design Portfolio

The following are examples of website design work completed for local and national companies. Since becoming part of Hatton Marketing Ltd., more recent websites can be found by visiting the web design portfolio page on Hatton Marketing.

Recently launched website for antiques company in Kensington. This comprehensive site was built so that Haslam and Whiteway could update the contents of the site themselves. The centrepiece of the site is a searchable online catalogue of their stock items, along with details of exhibitions they have consulted on and a unique set of biographies of designers and makers. The site has already attracted a lot of praise, including one antiques valuer who called it the "best dealer website" she'd ever seen (and she'd seen a lot!)

Pass on a Poem organise poetry readings at work, home and in many other places. This website, funded by the Fenton Arts Trust, supports their activities by providing a background to the organisation, details of their events and a great deal of fascinating writing around the subject of poetry. The site also contains a searchable anthology of poetry. The site was also built so that it can be updated simply using a mixture of online admin panels, and Macromedia Contribute by someone with limited technical knowledge.

New site providing information on retirement planning, what to do during retirement and recommendations for books, music and films.

Newly designed site for car valeting company in Slough. A good example of a fast turn around, professionally built site for a customer who wanted to get things up and running as quickly as possible. Site is constantly being updated and added to with new features - and has just undergone a redesign.

Campaigning site done by Tim with links to a petition - to protest against the axing of the Radio 4 "UK Theme" by the new controller of Radio 4. An excellent example of how quickly a website can be put up using web standards (took me about 5 minutes) and the ability of the internet to rally people around a cause! Featured on BBC, Telegraph, The Times, Guardian, The Mirror, etc.

Created by ski specialists and travel writers, The Ski Files is a quick guide to the world's top snow zones and resorts, and the hassle-free way to get onto the slopes. I was responsible for building the site from designers briefs and ensuring the site could be kept updated by non-technical people. The site also utilises affiliate scheme advertising.

Travel Aid is a new site built for Ecademy member Jon Game and his wife Sarah. The site promotes their business supplying equipment to the traveller as well as promoting adventurous but responsible travel. A small existing site has been completely redesigned (including new logo) using web standards and expanded, and now features RSS news feeds, and links to their online shop and ebay store.

Saffron Group are a building and construction services company in Woking. My recent job for them was for a redesign of their website - new layout, new design, new navigation to give it more visual impact and give a better, more professional online image for the company.

After being recommended by Avro Motor Cars, I have taken over the maintenance and updating of the Rardley Motors website. First job has been a complete recoding of the site using web standards to get rid of the nested frames layout and rework the navigation to make the site easier to use.

Myspanishpad was set up to provide information on a holiday apartment on the Costa del Sol. Information on the apartment, surrounding area, booking details, and links via affiliate programs to books, flights and car hire.
